Our priority is to bring volunteer dentists to help the people on the remote outer islands in Micronesia. Each trip is comprised of a team of 3-5 dentists who would donate their time, supplies, and airfare to and from Chuuk. MDSP helps provide the local support for translations and other logistical needs.

Our service trips are in the State of Chuuk (formerly Truk), the most populated and the poorest of the four states that make up the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM). Part of the trip will be to help the dental professionals in the only dental clinic for the entire state of over 36,000 people.

But more specifically, the Team will travel to the outer island of Houk to offer much needed dental services and health education to the isolated people on Houk. This is a great way to give back to some very special and gentle people. (Updated itinerary to Weno)

We are in the process of becoming a 501(c)3 status and will have such status in Summer, 2009.
